Indy grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where her passion for riding began at the age of 7. She rode all through her junior years and competed in many dressage and hunter jumper shows.
Indy decided to pursue a career in riding and training by attending William Woods University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Equestrian Science with a strong focus on the hunter/jumper discipline. During her time there she participated in clinics with Melanie Smith Taylor, Greg Best, Jeff Cook, and Linda Allen, all of whom helped to expand her knowledge of equestrian sport and advanced horsemanship.
After college she was employed by Jenny Jarnstrom, a nationally acclaimed 3-Day Event rider and trainer. After moving to Jacksonville in 2014 she quickly became a valuable member of the Coriander Farm team.
Indy has been running our school horse program for over 5 years. She is a capable rider as well as an amazing teacher. She is a confidence builder and thoroughly enjoys nurturing each student’s passion for riding and helping them to develop a solid foundation in horsemanship. Indy is a favorite amongst our students whether they are riding for pleasure or competition.
